Position: Membership Services Manager (Remote)


Role Overview

The Membership Services Manager will oversee the Membership Team and play a key role in supporting the Organization’s mission, vision, and strategic goals. This leadership position involves team management, strategic planning, process improvement, and driving member engagement through the integration of AI and technology.



Key Responsibilities


  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the Membership Services team to meet departmental goals and uphold service excellence.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with staff and volunteers to align membership efforts with the Organization’s broader mission and strategic plan.
  • Campaign Execution: Design and implement campaigns that drive membership acquisition, retention, and engagement.
  • Systems & Policies: Maintain and optimize membership systems, databases, and policies to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Goal Setting: Define clear departmental goals and develop strategies to deliver high-quality services to members.
  • Budget Oversight: Develop, manage, and report on budgets related to membership programs and services.
  • Internal Communication: Facilitate clear and consistent communication across the team and with key stakeholders.
  • Marketing Support: Assist in the development and maintenance of membership marketing materials.
  • Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of member programs and events, both virtually and in person.
  • Member Insights: Collect and analyze member feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Policy Development: Contribute to policy and program development through data analysis and reporting.
  • Application Oversight: Manage the intake and onboarding process for new members, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Committee Support: Provide administrative support to the Membership Services Committee, including scheduling and preparation of materials.
  • AI Integration: Identify and apply AI-driven tools to improve member services, streamline operations, and support growth.
  • Other Duties: Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the CEO.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing membership services or similar functions
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work with volunteers
  • Experience integrating AI or digital solutions into service delivery
  • Budgeting and financial oversight skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
  • Familiarity with policy development and implementation
