Job Description

Our client, a leading retail organization, is seeking a Merchandiser to join their team. As a Merchandiser, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting Big Box Retail stores. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Merchandiser
Location: Squamish, BC, Canada
Pay Range: $21/hour

What's the Job?

• Visit designated retail stores weekly to merchandise inventory and set up displays
• Ensure adequate inventory levels and organize store bins efficiently
• Attend to general housekeeping duties within the store environment
• Prepare and process new orders using company-issued equipment
• Act as a liaison between retail stores and corporate headquarters to communicate issues and updates

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience in retail vendor or big box environment or related field
• Excellent computer skills, particularly MS Excel and Outlook
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with a sense of purpose and urgency
