We are looking for a React Native Engineer to join our growing team and help us build beautiful, high-performance mobile applications. The ideal candidate has experience delivering polished apps across both iOS and Android platforms and lives in or around Montreal
Must-haves
- Strong experience with React Native and a deep understanding of cross-platform mobile development.
- Proven ability to architect, build, and maintain complex mobile applications.
- Experience working with native modules, third-party libraries, and debugging performance issues.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, mobile UI/UX best practices, and app lifecycle management.
- Comfortable working with REST APIs, authentication flows, and state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand).
- Familiarity with app deployment processes to App Store and Google Play.
- Good grasp of software development best practices including Git, CI/CD, and code documentation.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Expo, Fastlane, or mobile performance optimization.
- Familiarity with mobile security practices and debugging tools.
- Backend experience or ability to collaborate closely with API developers.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and localization/internationalization.
- Bilingual in English and French.
