A.S.P provides services to a wide range of clients with a significant presence in commercial and residential verticals in Ontario as well as some of the largest airports in Canada.</em></p><p>What you will do:</p><ul><li>Monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, both in vehicle and on foot, for security breaches and hazards</li><li>Vehicle and site inspections</li><li>Responding to routine, emergency, and alarm calls</li><li>Operating security systems such as CCTV, visitor management, fire & life safety, and access control</li><li>Providing customer service, responding to public inquiries, and assisting in the movement of authorized visitors, vendors, and staff</li><li>Managing and leading security guards as required</li><li>Parking enforcement and emergency response support as required</li><li>Recording and maintaining a memo book of daily activities, unusual or special occurrences, and issuance of equipment</li><li>Documenting all incidents into concise and accurate security incident reports</li><li>Enforcement of the Trespass to Property Act and other related legislation</li><li>Assisting with health & safety inspections and investigations</li><li>Collaborating directly with ASP management on matters pertaining to the Halton Region account</li></ul><p>Why you should work with A.S.P:</p><ul><li>Medical and dental benefits for all full-time and part-time employees*</li><li>Excellent in-field experience and training to prepare you for future growth in the security industry</li><li>On-the-spot, quarterly, and annual employee recognition initiatives</li><li>A top-of-the-line employee assistance program which offers mental health and wellness support</li><li>Our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion program that welcomes all employees and abilities</li><li>Exciting employment opportunities across multiple provinces and divisions</li><li>A bonus-based employee referral program</li><li>We are proud to be a Canadian company</li></ul><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>Demonstrated experience in a previous role with a similar size and scope of work</li><li>Post-secondary education in a related discipline such as Security, Investigations, or Criminology is preferred</li><li>An Ontario G driver's license with a clean abstract, 25 years of age or over</li><li>Must be able to obtain and maintain Vulnerable Sector Screening</li><li>A valid Ontario security guard license</li><li>A self-motivated and positive individual who is detail-oriented, skilled with Microsoft Office suite, and is a critical thinker</li></ul><p>We welcome applicants of all backgrounds.
