DataDrill takes pride in their ability to get the job done safely with high customer satisfaction.  DataDrill is currently seeking a Network Technician – Tier 1  To succeed, grow, and have fun within this company, the successful applicant will need the following Basic Skills:  * Organizational Skills and Exceptional Attention to Detail * Eagerness to learn and grow * Punctuality and Flexibility (predictable day shifts and paid after-hours On Call shifts are part of the position) * Ability to re-prioritize and multi-task as needed * Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, with respect and professionalism  Some additional Technical Skills and Experience Requirements are:  * Networking diploma or a suitable combination of education and experience is an asset. * Basic IT & Networking Knowledge * Equal interest in Network Operations, hand-on equipment maintenance and customer support. * Network+ or Cisco Certifications and experience with FortiNet and/or satellite internet are great assets * Experience with Zendesk is an asset  The successful applicant for Network Technician – Tier 1 will be expected to:  * Live DataDrill’s Values of Family, Accountability, Excellence, Teamwork, and Honesty in every circumstance * Work in the Calgary office 5 days a week, anytime between 7am – 8pm weekdays & 8am – 5pm weekends ** 8-hour shifts are on a predictable rotating schedule and are 5 days in a row ** Monitor and maintain DD’s various satellite networks and provide reporting internally and externally ** Assist field staff and customer support calls in a professional and efficient manner ** Collaborate with other operational and support teams to ensure a premium service and experience for clients * After-hours On Call support (shared with other team members) * Assemble, program and test various network devices such as routers, access points, modems, and switches.  Successful candidates with the previously mentioned skills will be provided with the necessary training and knowledge they will need to succeed in this role.  We thank all applicants for their interest, but only those deemed suitable for the position will be contacted.</p></p>Create Your Resume First
