<p><p>Insight Global is seeking a <b>Pre-Boarding Specialist</b> for one of our partners in <b>Saskatoon, Canada</b>. The Pre-Boarding Specialist ensures every new hire has a smooth, compliant, and timely journey from offer acceptance through Day 1. You’ll coordinate offer logistics, background checks, provisioning, contractor work orders, and first-week readiness—acting as the linchpin between Talent Acquisition, HR, IT, Security, and Procurement. This role blends project coordination, stakeholder communication, and process excellence to deliver an exceptional new-hire experience at scale.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li><b>Own the pre-boarding workflow</b> from offer acceptance to start date, ensuring all steps are completed on-time and to policy.</li>
<li><b>Launch and track background checks</b> (e.g., criminal, education, employment verification, drug screens) and elevate issues proactively.</li>
<li><b>Coordinate provisioning</b> of equipment, system access, badges/IDs, and credentials with IT and Security (e.g., accounts, SSO, MFA).</li>
<li><b>Manage contractor/contingent worker setup</b> including work order creation/activation, vendor engagement, rate/PO alignment, and start-date readiness.</li>
<li><b>Guide candidates through next steps</b> (forms, I-9/Right to Work, E-Verify, benefits pre-enrollment, training prerequisites, Smart Labor/portals).</li>
<li><b>Maintain accurate data</b> in HRIS/ATS/VMS, keeping records audit-ready and aligned with compliance requirements.</li>
<li><b>Communicate timelines and status</b> to Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and cross-functional partners; send timely reminders and updates.</li>
<li><b>Create Day 1 readiness packs</b> (welcome emails, reporting instructions, site access, first-week schedule, manager checklists).</li>
<li><b>Identify and remove blockers</b>—procurement delays, access provisioning, incomplete docs—and drive resolution fast.</li>
<li><b>Continuously improve processes</b> via SOPs, SLAs, metrics dashboards, and feedback loops to reduce cycle times and errors.</li>
<li><b>Ensure compliance</b> with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies (privacy, data retention, EEOC, I-9).</li>

<h3>Qualifications</h3>

<li>2-5 years of experience with onboarding/pre boarding</li>
<li>Organization skills</li>
<li>Customer service experience</li>
</ul>
<h3>Nice to have</h3>

<li>Experience with Success Factors</li>
<li>Experience with SAP</li>
</ul>
<p>This position is paying between $31.75 CAD/hr - $34.50 CAD/ hr.</p></p>
