<p><h3>Orthopedic Surgeon – Mackenzie Health</h3><p>Join Mackenzie Health’s Division of Orthopedic Surgery as an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon with a subspecialty in hip and knee arthroplasty, including same‑day joint procedures and robotics.</p>
<h3>Position Overview</h3>
<p>The successful candidate will work at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital and Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, serving a population of more than half a million people and contributing to the upcoming York University School of Medicine teaching centre opening in 2028.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Perform hip and knee arthroplasty procedures, including same‑day joint operations.</li>
<li>Provide clinical care and surgical expertise within the Orthopedic Surgery division.</li>
<li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient‑centered care.</li>
<li>Participate in educational activities and mentorship for trainees.</li>
<li>Maintain clinical documentation, adhering to OHIP fee‑for‑service protocols.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Medical degree approved by the CPSO with an independent CPSO license.</li>
<li>Certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.</li>
<li>Post‑graduate training in Orthopedic Surgery and a fellowship in hip and knee arthroplasty.</li>
<li>CMPA membership or equivalent in good standing.</li>
<li>Experience with same‑day joint procedures and robotics is preferred.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Region</h3>
<p>Central Ontario – Urban – York Central GTA</p>
<h3>Compensation & Benefits</h3>
<ul>
<li>OHIP fee for service.</li>
<li>On‑call 1 in 10.</li>
<li>Existing orthopedic surgeon team of 9.</li>
</ul>
