Job Description

<p> Synergie is currently seeking an Outside Sales Rep in Saskatoon, SK for our client, a leading distributor of pipes, valves and fittings. This is a permanent position, an excellent chance to join a growing and stable company. This role will be responsible for the development, servicing and maintenance of our customer account base and meet various sales targets. <p></p><p></p><p><b> RESPONSIBILITIES </b></p><p></p><ul><li> Develop close relationships with decision makers at new and existing customers by making calls/visits and attending trade shows </li><li> Resolve customer/client issues/or problems liaise with inside sales, credit and warehouse </li><li> Providing accurate sales forecasting, meeting/exceeding sales targets </li><li> Territory planning, calls and route planning to maximize sales </li><li> Identify, target and acquire new customer accounts </li><li> Accountable for monitoring customers credit and reporting to appropriate department </li><li> Participate in special sales functions and trade shows as require/requested </li><li> Assist on the order desk as required/requested </li><li> Remain current in company product </li><li> Prepare and generate reports as required/requested </li></ul><p></p><p><b> QUALIFICATIONS </b></p><p></p><ul><li> Minimum 4 years’ experience in customer service/sales capacity in related industry, preferably with background knowledge in mechanical/industrial pipe, valve and fitting </li><li> College Diploma in Sales/Marketing, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Technologist (CET), Fire Protection Specialist or a related discipline </li><li> Mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints is an asset </li><li> Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal and negotiations/problem solving skills </li><li> Attention to detail </li><li> Intermediate level with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook </li><li> Strong math skills </li><li> Able to self manage </li><li> Available to travel on daily basis with some overnight travel as needed </li><li> Valid driver’s license and clean driving record </li><li> Must be able to travel within as well as outside of Canada </li></ul><p></p><p> Group benefits and RRSP Match available </p><p> Life/Disability insurance and tuition reimbursement </p>
