From on-street operations and digital mobility solutions to last-mile logistics and urban space optimization, we are transforming how cities move.</p><p>We are currently seeking a motivated, reliable, and outgoing team players to join our Atlantic Canada team as a Valet Parking Attendant, based at one of our hospital locations in downtown Halifax.</p><p></p><p><strong>WORK SCHEDULE & ROLE DETAILS:</strong></p><p>This is a 1-month contract role, ending February 18.</p><p>Successful full-time applicants will typically work 8-hour shifts, usually between 5:30 AM and 1:30 PM, Monday to Friday; however, shift hours may vary depending on operational needs.</p><p>Access to reliable transportation is required. A valid Canadian driver’s license and clean driving abstract are required. A minimum of three (3) years of driving experience is required.</p><p>The ideal candidate has the ability to solve problems, the ability to interact with the public and clients in a professional, empathetic and courteous manner, and is a great communicator.</p><p></p><p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION:</strong></p><p>OPERATIONS:</p><ul><li><p>Greeting and welcoming guests to the property</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Parking and retrieving vehicles in a timely fashion</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Operating vehicles safely in confined areas and narrow spaces</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Performing accurate inspections of vehicles for damage prior to taking into custody</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Issue and collect valet tickets as required</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensuring safe custody of keys in locked key box</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensuring vehicles are locked after parking</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Cleaning the work area, and parking area as needed, including key sanitization and litter pick up</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Answering any questions that guests may have (providing directions, etc.)</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Responsible for adhering to all company policies and procedures</p></li></ul><p>CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP:</p><ul><li><p>Build positive relationships with customers</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Note the nature of complaints received by customers, and actively help develop and suggest solutions</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Communicate verbally with customers and clients in English</p></li></ul><p>REQUIREMENTS:</p><ul><li><p>High school diploma or equivalent</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>High level of interpersonal skills, including poise and diplomacy</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Previous customer service experience</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Previous valet experience considered an asset</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Good communication skills, both verbally and written</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ability to work with a team</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Able to work outside in all weather (free uniform provided)</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>A valid Canadian drivers license and clean driving abstract</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>A minimum of three years driving experience</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Able to operate a vehicle in confined spaces without damage</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is an asset</p></li></ul><p>We offer paid training, paid breaks, and free uniforms.</p><p></p><p>#IPC2</p></p></p>
