We are always on the lookout for talented individuals to join our team. <br>The Opportunity: Postmedia Parcel Services is looking for flexible, hardworking individuals to join our growing team<br>What you'll do:<br><br>Prepare stations for inbound parcels: Set up of racks, bags, and cages, for sorting. <br>Ensuring everything is properly labeled with correct Hub/Sort codes<br>Scan, sort, and place parcels within stations in the appropriate labeled bags/cages<br>Verify sort codes to match with proper bags/cages to eliminate "missorts"<br>Ensure proper use of provided equipment<br>Responsible for bringing missorts/package issues to Admins<br>Bag/Cage all sorted freight and stage the freight for carriers<br>Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required<br>Clean facility as required<br>Update respective Leads of any supplies needed, damages and any delays or issues encountered<br>Ensure all Health and Safety Guidelines are adhered to at all times <br>Ensure dock safety for yourself and fellow coworkers<br>Any other task or assignments deemed necessary by the organization <br><br>Requirements: <br><br>High School Diploma<br>Reliable transportation<br>Basic English language skills<br>Ability to work up to 12 hr shifts<br>Available through the week and weekends<br>Warehouse experience considered an asset<br>Good interpersonal, communication and organization skills<br>Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs repetitively<br><br>Pay: Base Rate: $16.50/hr <br>Benefits:<br><br>Group Benefits Plan (health, dental, vision)<br>Pension <br>Paid Vacation TimeCreate Your Resume First
