In this role, you will lead and support the payroll team in delivering accurate and timely payroll services across a large, multi-site organisation. You’ll ensure compliance with legislation and internal policies, maintain payroll data integrity, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.</p><p><b>Your new role will involve:</b></p><ul><li>Leading and supervising the payroll team to ensure effective service delivery and team engagement.</li><li>Processing and overseeing week to week payruns with the payroll team.</li><li>Ensuring accuracy in processing of wages, superannuation, fringe benefits, and deductions.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation, awards, and internal policies.</li><li>Maintaining payroll systems and records and recommending improvements where needed.</li><li>Supporting our finance teams across the nation with reconciliations and reporting deadlines.</li><li>Acting as a subject matter expert for payroll-related compliance, audits, and system upgrades.</li><li>Promoting strong stakeholder relationships and contributing to service level achievement.</li></ul><p><b>About you:</b></p><ul><li>Proven experience managing payroll teams and fostering a positive team culture.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in payroll processing for large, multi-site organisations.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of HRIS/payroll systems and payroll legislation.</li><li>High-level understanding of awards and payroll accounting.</li><li>Proficient in payroll administration, superannuation, PAYG, and salary packaging.</li><li>Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and related software.</li></ul><p><b>Sci-Fleet Motors</b> will offer you:</p><ul><li>A competitive remuneration package</li><li>Supportive management team & great workplace culture</li><li>On-site free parking</li></ul><p><b>Sci-Fleet Motors</b> is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p><p><b>Applicants must obtain Federal Police Clearance</b></p><h3>Apply questions</h3><p>Your application will include the following questions:</p><ul><li>Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?</li><li>How many years of payroll experience do you have?</li></ul><p>Sci-Fleet Motors is a family owned and operated local business that has been servicing South East QLD for over 40 years.
