<p><strong>Peoplesoft Technical Business Analyst</strong></p><p><strong>Term: </strong>January 2026 to August 2026 with possibility of extension.</p><p><strong>Hybrid Work Model: </strong>3 days onsite/2 days remote</p><p><br></p><p>Our Client is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support the migration from the Research Management System (RMS) and Electronic Research Services Office (eRSO) applications to the PeopleSoft Grants and Contract modules.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure adherence to the ITIO Methodology, use of our BA standard templates, as well as the specific Solution Delivery processes and standards.</li><li>Liaise with the ITIO group for additional guidance on ITIO BA standards.</li><li>Ensure all project documentation and deliverables are stored in the official SharePoint project repository.</li><li>Ensure that project decisions are formally documented as per the ITIO Methodology.</li><li>Provide reporting and status updates to the ITIO team as required.</li><li>Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and procedures.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Deliverables:</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>1. Data Cleanup & Migration</strong></p><ul><li>Review data mapping to confirm data extractions are complete</li><li>Work with the technical team and business groups to resolve data migration issues and data cleanup</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>2. Quality Assurance</strong></p><ul><li>Develop test strategy, test plan and test cases</li><li>Test execution and defect tracking</li><li>Deliverables: Testing strategy, plan and test cases</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>3. Reporting & Data Warehouse</strong></p><p><strong>Work with development teams and business groups to review:</strong></p><ul><li>Existing reports and queries</li><li>New management reports and queries</li><li>Prepare test cases, execute testing and track deficiencies</li><li>Validate data integrity and consistency across reports and data warehouse tables</li><li>Support analysis for data quality issues and recommend corrective actions</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications and skills:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Minimum 8 years' experience as a Functional/Data/Business Analyst</li><li>Strong background in data conversion and migration from third-party systems</li><li>Experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 (up to Image 49) and PeopleTools 8.60, including functional modules such as Grants, Contracts, and Project Costing (Must Have)</li><li>Experience working on enterprise level programs and familiarity with BA methodologies and tools.</li><li>Ability to work with a large cross-section of users (Research, Finance and Research Legal)</li><li>Strong facilitation skills</li><li>Exceptional written and oral communication skills and a demonstrated ability to clearly articulate</li><li>messages to a variety of stakeholders.</li><li>Strategic, critical and analytical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving.</li><li>Influence and engage all levels of stakeholders and support change.</li><li>Ensure the library of project documentation are maintained and communicated to the consultants, developers and the entire team</li><li>Post secondary/public sector experience (Nice to Have)</li><li>Highly proficient in communication skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p> MUST HAVE PeopleSoft FSCM and PeopleTools experience as well as functional modules such as Grants, Contracts, and Project Costing.</p><p><br></p><p> Open to seeing Grants/Contracts/Project Costing modules experience from other similar ERPS as well</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Must be:</strong></p><p>Flexible and able to work in a dynamic environment and changing situations</p><p>A team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others</p><p>Able to meet deadlines and manage time effectively</p>
