We’re working with a well-regarded Toronto personal injury firm known for its compassionate, client-first approach and strong trial advocacy. The firm is looking to add an experienced Personal Injury Lawyer (3+ years) to their team.

The Role

You’ll take the lead on a range of personal injury matters, working directly with clients, managing files independently, and seeing cases through to resolution-whether by settlement or trial.

Ideal candidates will have a strong litigation foundation, a passion for advocacy, and the empathy to support injured clients through difficult times.

Files You’ll Work On

A broad mix of plaintiff-side personal injury cases, including:

• Motor vehicle accidents (tort and AB)

• Slip/trip and falls (occupiers’ liability)

• Chronic pain, orthopedic, and psychological injuries

• Catastrophic injury and long-term disability (LTD) claims

• Traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury claims

• Fatality and dependency claims

• Dog bites and municipal liability

• Claims involving minors or clients under disability

• Mediations, arbitrations, and FSCO/LAT proceedings

• Trials and pre-trials at the Ontario Superior Court

What You’ll Be Doing

• Running personal injury files from intake through to settlement or trial

• Conducting examinations for discovery and mediations

• Preparing for and attending court on motions, pre-trials, and trials

• Drafting pleadings, motion materials, affidavits, and submissions

• Collaborating with medical and liability experts

• Assessing damages and preparing settlement briefs

• Advising clients and their families with professionalism and compassion

• Working closely with clerks and support staff to move files forward

What You Bring

• 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience (plaintiff-side preferred)

• Strong courtroom and negotiation skills

• Experience with SABS, tort, and LTD claims

• A client-focused mindset with strong communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines independently

• Familiarity with legal practice management tools (Primafact, ACL, Time Matters, etc.)

• A genuine interest in advocacy and helping injured individuals seek justice
