<p>ON-SITE IN MONTREAL IS PREFERRED; REMOTE OR HYBRIDIS POSSIBLE FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE.</p><p>Open for candidates in Canada as well as the US.</p><p>POSSIBLE FOR REMOTE WORK</p><p><b>Role :</b></p><p>As part of the System Engineering Department, the Phased Array antenna lead Engineer will lead, and coordinate the work needed for the definition, development and execution of the Phased Array designs, and the preparations, implementation, testing and verification of the of such sub-systems.</p><p><b>Tasks :</b></p><p>The Phased array antenna engineer will perform and participate in the following tasks and activities, depending on the background and experience of the candidate.</p><ul><li>Generate and maintain the requirements of the Antenna sub-system and lower level associated to the sub-system units.</li><li>Perform requirements management activities, e.g. tracing parent and child requirements, requirements justification, etc.</li><li>Lead the development of design architecture and sub-system level performance budgets</li><li>Lead a cross-disciplinary team to converge on a design architecture that meets the mission requirements.</li><li>Generate and maintain verification matrices and detailed test requirements.</li><li>Develop and maintain build matrices to identify and track all product development hardware.</li><li>Develop the Assembly, Integration and Test Plan. Support test activities starting from the planning phase through to production.</li><li>Review unit level & system level test data, evaluate non-compliances. Support efforts on automated data post-processing / management.</li></ul><p><b>Must haves</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent</li><li>At least 10 years of experience</li><li>Previous experience with active antenna system designs, beam forming, antenna parameters.</li><li>Experience with Antenna testing, and facilities associated to radiated tests</li><li>Experience in concepts of space and / or ground segment design antenna applications, specification and integration methodologies.</li><li>Knowledge in Matlab & Simulink and other simulation tools</li></ul><p><b>Complementary skills / knowledge</b></p><ul><li>Requirements Management tools such as DOORS / Windchill / Jama</li><li>Previous experience in Space programs</li><li>Experience creating or using models and / or simulation software.</li><li>Demonstrated capability to efficiently work with little to no supervision</li></ul><p>Strong written and verbal communications skills in English, knowledge of French will be considered favorably</p><h3>Create a job alert for this search</h3>#J-18808-Ljbffr
