Job Description

Are you handy with tools and looking to specialize in the trucking industry? We are seeking a hardworking Suspension Installer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in keeping vehicles on the road by installing and repairing the systems that support heavy loads. You will work on everything from light-duty pickups to heavy-duty transport trucks.<BR><BR>Key Responsibilities<BR>Suspension Installation: Assist with the teardown and assembly of suspension systems, including leaf springs, coil springs, and shock absorbers.<BR><BR>Transport Truck Service: Help install and replace heavy-duty components such as air springs (air bags), shackles, hangers, and U-bolts.<BR>Equipment Use: Use shop tools safely to remove worn parts and secure new suspension hardware.<BR><BR>Inspections: Assist senior staff in checking for cracked leaves or worn bushings in transport truck assemblies.<BR>Requirements<BR><BR>Mechanical Interest: A strong enthusiasm for vehicles and a basic understanding of how they work.<BR><BR>Physical Strength: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active shop environment.<BR><BR>Willingness to Learn: You dont need to be an expert yet, but you must be able to follow instructions and safety protocols closely.<BR><BR>Communication: Basic English communication skills.<BR>Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada with a valid work permit.
