<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Talon Recruiting has partnered with a leading heavy equipment dealership in search of Precision & Equipment Monitoring Specialists to join their teams covering Montreal and Ottawa.<p><p><p>The company is looking for an ambitious, highly driven specialist to join our team. If you have a passion for construction equipment, technology, connecting with people and communicating technical information then this may be the position for you. If you know your way around heavy equipment, site designs/surveys, grade stakes, lasers, GPS and robotic total stations, telematics, sensors, and data analytics to track equipment health, optimize operations, we want to hear from you.</p><p>As a <b>Precision Specialist</b> you will be responsible for supporting the commercial sales and service team on a range of Precision Technology products.</p> <b>Responsibilities</b><ul><li>You will work closely with the sales managers and product support team to incorporate technology into every discussion and sale;</li><li>As the subject matter expert, you will deliver presentations and demonstrations to showcase our technological capabilities;</li><li>You will serve as the primary point of contact for all questions relating to the precision equipment;</li><li>Understand the technical terms of GPS/GLONASS, know the difference between a 2D and 3D precision system, application control, telematics, mapping, etc.;</li><li>Responsible for providing ongoing precision training to the sales representatives and product support team to ensure an understanding of precision technologies and equipment monitoring tools;</li><li> Promote the digital customer onboarding of equipment monitoring tools;</li><li>Assist the team of technicians in installing, calibration and diagnosing technologies on construction/heavy machinery (GPS);</li><li>Provide Precision technical assistance and after sales follow-ups with customers;</li><li>Adhere to all occupational Health and Safety standards. The company is committed to the protection and wellness of its employees.</li></ul>Profile<ul><li>Geomatics/Civil Engineering diploma or at least 3 years of relevant work experience;</li><li>Background in construction/heavy machinery and/or machine automation;</li><li>Experience with surveying equipment (GNSS/Total Stations);</li><li>Experience and understanding of underground locators and Ground Penetrating Radar;</li><li>Thorough understanding of survey field and office software and CAD systems;</li><li>Talent for building and maintaining healthy profitable customer relationships;</li><li>Strong communicator and collaborators, with excellent interpersonal skills;</li><li>Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing, in both French and English to serve french and english speaking customers of our branches located in Quebec and Ontario;</li><li>Self-disciplined, highly organized with strategic planning skills and the ability to work independently.</li></ul><p> </p></p></p>Please send resumes to <span >nate@talonrecruiting.com</span></p></p>Create Your Resume First
