<p>Overview<br><br>We are seeking an experienced and dedicated private English tutor to work with high school students of all levels remotely and in-person in the Oakville area.</p><p>Pay is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.</p><p>Duties<br><br>- Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students<br><br>- Create personalized learning plans based on students' needs<br><br>- Help students understand challenging concepts and improve their academic performance<br><br>- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers to track progress<br><br>- Utilize various teaching methods to engage students effectively</p><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Master's Degree or OCT required<br><br>-PhD or PhD in a related field is an asset. </li><li>IELTS Instruction an asset </li><li>Experience in tutoring or teaching, especially with children </li><li>Strong communication skills </li><li>Ability to educate and inspire students </li><li>Familiarity with classroom dynamics and educational techniques</li></ul><p>Job Type: Part-time</p><p>Pay: $33.00-$38.00 per hour</p><p>Expected hours: 1 – 3 per week</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Casual dress</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>On-site parking</li></ul><p>Education:</p><ul><li>Master's Degree (required)</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>teaching: 2 years (required)</li></ul><p>Licence/Certification:</p><ul><li>Vulnerable Sector Check (preferred)</li><li>IELTS Preparation (preferred)</li></ul><p>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Oakville, ON</p>
