<b>Procurement Systems Specialist</b><b><br></b><br>
Dynamic 12-month contract in the insurance sector supporting digital procurement initiatives, supplier onboarding, and eCatalog development. Based in Toronto with a hybrid schedule and flexibility depending on experience. Suited for professionals with Ivalua experience and a background in procurement transformation.<br>

<br>• Salaried: $32-36 per hour.<br>
<br>• Incorporated Business Rate: $39-43 per hour.<br>
<br>• 1-year contract with potential for eventual conversion to a permanent position.<br>

<br>• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.<br>
<br>• Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.<br>
<br>• Hybrid work: 3 office days, from Tuesday to Thursday.<br>

<b>Responsibilities: <br></b>
<br>
<br>• Liaise with business units, category managers, finance teams, and suppliers to gather data for transitioning spend into digital procurement platforms.<br>
<br>• Identify users requiring access to procurement tools and coordinate with IT and support teams to manage dependencies.<br>
<br>• Perform enablement and transaction setup activities, including catalog creation and system configuration.<br>
<br>• Ensure supplier records are accurate and complete to support requisition, purchasing, and invoicing processes.<br>
<br>• Validate contract data for accuracy and ensure alignment with business requirements.<br>
<br>• Configure buying and invoicing channels to meet procurement strategy and compliance standards.<br>
<br>• Lead change management efforts internally and externally to support adoption of digital procurement solutions.<br>
<br>• Develop and maintain catalog systems, tools, and processes to standardize procurement practices.<br>
<br>• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to identify and deploy catalog opportunities.<br>
<br>• Create, update, and integrate eCatalogs into procure-to-pay systems such as Ivalua.<br>
<br>• Monitor and report on procurement metrics, including contract terms and compliance.<br>
<br>• Review supplier contracts to assess integration into catalog or non-catalog buying channels.<br>
<br>• Define purchase order structures based on contract setup, including spend limits and line-item requirements.<br>
<br>• Perform additional tasks as required by the manager or project lead.<br>
<br>
<b>What you will need to succeed:</b><b><br></b>
<br>
<br>• Undergraduate degree.<br>
<br>• 5+ years of relevant experience with procurement technologies, preferably Ivalua.<br>
<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.<br>
<br>• Strong communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders across multiple functions.<br>
<br>• Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.<br>
<br>• Applicable certifications in procurement platforms such as Ivalua (asset).<br>
<br>• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and macros (asset).<br>
<br>• Industry experience in procurement or retail (asset).<br>
<br>• Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn.<br>
<br>• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.<br>
<br>• Comfortable in corporate environments and open to new ways of working.<br>
