Job Description
Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and currently looking for a new challenge? We are currently seeking an experienced Production Shift Lead - Pallet Repair to supervise our client's team. The shifts are Monday to Friday 5:00am to 1:30pm and 3:30pm - 12:00am. This position starts at $20/hr. If you have a keen eye for detail and the ability to meet productivity targets, we want to hear from you  <br><br>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Train and supervise team members on shift.</li><li>Identify any maintenance issues, order repairs and offer technical guidance.</li><li>Inspect equipment and products for quality purposes ensuring standards are met.</li><li>Document all repair activities to maintain accurate records.</li><li>Meet daily and weekly productivity and quality targets.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized sorting area.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by leadership team.</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>Strong leadership skills with excellent communication.</li><li>Experience with operating machinery and pallet repair is preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with safety procedures and the use of PPE in an industrial setting.</li><li>Computation of basic math skills.</li></ul>
Working Conditions:<ul><li>Exposure to dust and loud noise (hearing protection provided).</li><li>Ability to lift, carry, and move pallets and materials weighing up to 85 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.</li><li>Able to stand for long periods while completing repair tasks and transporting pallets.</li><li>Regular use of power tools including repetitive operation of nail guns, hammers and saws.</li><li>Requires strong visual attention to identify pallet defects and perform precise repair work.</li><li>Must have steel toed footwear in good repair.</li></ul>
