Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions.</p><p></p><p><strong>Your future team:</strong></p><p>You will become part of the Yard and Brick plant team managing a team of 10-15 people and reporting to the Production Manager.</p><p></p><p><strong>What you will be doing:</strong></p><ul><li>Enforce all safety policies and procedures (including LOTO, PPE, WAH, Confined Space, First Aid) to maintain a safe work environment.</li><li>Lead, train, and develop employees to ensure they are competent, safe, and aligned with company policies and regulations.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and environmentally compliant yard and briquette plant.</li><li>Ensure briquettes are produced in the right quantity and quality to meet cupola and fibre chemistry requirements.</li><li>Oversee proper handling and storage of raw materials and briquettes to prevent quality issues and cross-contamination.</li><li>Direct raw material and waste handling to ensure continuous, uninterrupted production flow.</li><li>Execute the daily briquette production schedule and drive operational improvements in the area.</li><li>Coordinate closely with Maintenance to report defects, reduce downtime, and support equipment reliability.</li><li>Monitor and report daily KPIs, participate in Rockwool Excellence activities, and support data-driven improvements.</li><li>Manage performance and attendance (including feedback and reviews) while fostering continuous improvement in people, processes, and equipment.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>What you bring:</strong></p><ul><li>3 to 5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor (Mechanical background)</li><li>Must have leadership experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.</li><li>Strong experience working with automated systems/conveyors.</li><li>Must be WAH, Confined Space and First Aid trained.</li><li>Sound understanding or Lean Manufacturing principles.</li><li>Strong experience with MS Office products, such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Project</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><ul><li>At ROCKWOOL, our culture is one of teamwork, respect, and support.
