About the Role

Our client are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our project delivery teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about civil construction, project planning, and team collaboration.


Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and budgeting for civil construction projects.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
  • Track project progress, maintain documentation, and prepare regular status reports.
  • Support procurement processes, including RFQs, purchase orders, and material tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Participate in site meetings, inspections, and liaise with clients and consultants.
  • Help manage change orders, cost tracking, and project close-out documentation.


Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a project coordination or field engineering role within civil construction.
  • Strong understanding of earthworks, utilities, and roadworks is an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
