Job Summary:
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong financial services background to lead complex, non-IT projects from initiation through closure. This role involves guiding a team of project managers, managing stakeholders—including executives—and ensuring successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, from planning to execution and closure
- Manage and support a team of project managers
- Gather requirements, analyze data, and create project plans
- Track progress, mitigate risks, and report to stakeholders
- Deliver executive presentations and drive issue resolution
- Liaise with business teams, vendors, and technology groups
- Oversee integration, resource planning, and contract approvals
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the financial industry
- Expertise in requirements gathering, project coordination, and status reporting
- Strong proficiency in MS Project, Excel (Pivot Tables, SUM, etc.), and PowerPoint
- Exceptional presentation skills and experience interfacing with stakeholders and executives
- Case Management
- Strong business and strategic planning knowledge
- Familiarity with production processes, cost control, and quality assurance method
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and performance evaluation
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software
- Familiarity or prior implementation experience with Resolver
- Former Business Analyst experience
- Proficiency in Visio for process mapping and documentation
- Previous experience working in risk-focused environments
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
- PMI or PMP certification preferred
