<p>QA Manual and Automation Tester</p><p>In this role, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery by leveraging strong technical expertise and a meticulous approach to quality assurance.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><p>· Lead consulting projects and engagements, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and providing strategic guidance on testing strategies, automation frameworks, and quality assurance processes.</p><p>· Architect, design, and implement robust test automation solutions using Java, Selenium, and API testing frameworks to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of software applications.</p><p>· Develop tests that validate application behaviour across multiple browsers and devices, leveraging Playwright's capabilities for browser automation.</p><p>· Develop and maintain automated test suites for API endpoints and database interactions, leveraging tools and libraries such as Rest Assured and JDBC.</p><p>· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and project managers, to define testing requirements, establish best practices, and drive continuous improvement in software quality.</p><p>· Design and implement automated tests using Playwright for web applications to ensure functionality, performance, and usability.</p><p>· Conduct code reviews, performance optimizations, and troubleshooting to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of test automation scripts and frameworks.</p><p>· Mentor and coach junior consultants and team members, providing technical guidance, sharing knowledge, and fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.</p><p>· Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software testing and quality assurance, and apply relevant methodologies and tools to enhance testing processes and practices.</p><p>Qualifications we seek in you</p><p>Minimum Qualifications</p><p>· BE/B Tech/MCA</p><p>· Excellent written and verbal communication skills</p><p>Preferred Qualifications/ Skills</p><p>· Experience in software testing</p><p>· Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes</p><p>· Experience in software development, quality assurance, and test automation.</p><p>· Experience in Java, Selenium & Playwright ,API testing, Agile, Jira</p><p>· Strong proficiency in Java programming language, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks and libraries.</p><p>· expertise in Selenium WebDriver for web application testing, including page object model (POM) design patterns and browser automation.</p><p>· Experience with API testing frameworks such as RestAssured, Postman, or SOAPUI, and proficiency in testing RESTful and SOAP web services.</p><p>· Solid understanding of database concepts, SQL querying, and experience in database testing using JDBC or similar libraries.</p><p>· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution in a collaborative team environment.</p><p>· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</p><p>· Leadership experience, including leading teams, managing projects, and driving technical initiatives to successful completion.</p><p>· Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ISTQB, Java certifications) are a plus.</p>
