<p>The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback. </p><p> </p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards</li><li>Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action</li><li>Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings</li><li>Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training and performance evaluations</li><li>Ensure internal and external quality metrics are in place and reviewed</li><li>Identify and implement corrective actions</li><li>Lead root cause investigation and resolution</li><li>Organize and facilitate internal and external quality audits</li><li>Provide quality training, guidance and mentoring to employees and suppliers</li><li>Manage supplier quality, approvals and auditing of suppliers</li><li>Organize management review meetings</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering</li><li>5+ years' relevant work experience</li><li>Certification of AS9100 required</li><li>Knowledge of Nadcap is an asset</li><li>Technologist or Engineering degree required</li><li>10+ years of relevant Manufacturing, Quality, or Engineering experience</li><li>Solid technical background - ability to interpret drawings and customer specifications</li><li>Knowledgeable in inspection techniques</li><li>Good understanding of quality requirements in an ISO/AS environment</li><li>Strong understanding of Quality Management System and Auditing</li><li>Experience in creating, maintaining and updating QMS (Quality Management System)</li><li>Highly organized with excellent attention to detail</li></ul><p></p>Create Your Resume First
