React Developer (Contract) – Capital Markets / Trading applications
We are seeking a highly skilled React Front-End Developer to join the Platform team supporting the client’s Asset-Backed Securities business. You will build high-performance, intuitive UIs that power trade capture, risk visualization, and lifecycle management for securitized products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Redux for trading and risk applications.
- Collaborate with UX designers and back-end engineers to deliver cohesive workflows.
- Integrate with APIs for trade, pricing, and lifecycle data.
- Maintain shared components and contribute to UI architecture decisions.
- Ensure accessibility, performance optimization, and production readiness.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Strong knowledge of capital markets and equities trading processes.
- Minimum of 6+ years of front-end development experience.
- Deep expertise in React.js, TypeScript, and front-end best practices.
- Experience working in fixed income or structured products environments preferred.
- Familiarity with Jest, Cypress, or other testing frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, set goals, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts in a multicultural team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
