Insight Global is looking for a Project Manager with a strong real estate background for a large retail company. This role is an on-site position (5 days per week) in Mississauga.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to primarily oversee the management of industrial real estate acquisition and development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate development, and construction/ and project management, with a deep understanding of the industrial real estate market.
This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills to ensure the successful execution of projects from inception to completion. You will be developing and managing project plans, timelines, and budgets for industrial real estate acquisition and development projects. o Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants(e.g., architects, civil engineers, environmental specialists, ), contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Planning/Real Estate, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
A Master’s degree is preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning or real estate development, with a focus on industrial properties. • Proven track record of successfully managing real estate acquisition and development projects. • Strong knowledge of the industrial real estate market, including trends, regulations, and best practices is an asset • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control. – Experience working with various cross functional teams such as internal teams, external consultants(e.g., architects, civil engineers, environmental specialists, ), contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met. – Experience working with general contractors, constructions teams and creating scope of work within construction projects. o Coordinate the work of team members and external partners to ensure feasibility studies, site assessments, and due diligence are conducted effectively. – Experience overseeing the analysis of financial models and projections to assess the viability and profitability of projects. o Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and opportunities to senior management and other stakeholders. o Facilitate meetings and presentations to communicate project progress and address any issues or concerns, ensuring that team members are effectively managing their respective areas. – 10/10 communication skills with the ability to present clearly and concisely to executive leadership
