This job is permanent and full-time.</p><p>Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:</p><p>Ability to perform manual machining and repair functions (there’s no CNC equipment on site).<br/>Working with preventative maintenance programs and documenting accurate maintenance records (CMMS).<br/>Working with a wide array of precision tools.<br/>Ability to read, create, and interpret machine drawings.</p><p>Key Skills:</p><p>Dedicated to safety, proactive support of efforts to create a culture of safety excellence.<br/>Effective communicator to other departments.<br/>Utilize the Maintenance Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).<br/>Commitment to working within and creating a safe and healthy work environment.<br/>Team player who can work as part of a team or in an independent setting.<br/>Computer skills and assets.<br/>Respond to production calls during downtime.<br/>Communicate updates to supervisor to maintain goals.</p><p>Required Professional Experience/Qualifications:</p><p>Red Seal certification.<br/>3 to 5 years’ experience in related industrial environment.<br/>An uncompromising approach to safety.<br/>Ability to work in a team or independently.<br/>Available for mill 12 hour operational shift schedules.</p><p>Salary rate: $48.66 per hour as per the Collective Agreement.</p><p>Domtar is firmly committed to placing greater emphasis on the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion to empower all employees to reach their full potential.
