<h3>The Position</h3>
<p>Neelands Group Limited is searching for a<b>Refrigeration</b> <b>Construction Foreman</b> to join our team at the Burlington, Ontario location. This is a regular, full-time union position with a full union compensation package. The Refrigeration Construction Foreman will report to the Construction Manager and will provide field staff with technical support helping to ensure a smooth turnover from the construction phase to service.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead a team of refrigeration technicians and apprentices, ensuring proper training, guidance, and support.</li>
<li>Uphold safety standards on job sites, ensuring adherence to company safety policies and Ontario regulations.</li>
<li>Carefully read and interpret blueprints to ensure proper specifications are being followed.</li>
<li>Accurately measure and layout plan for installation.</li>
<li>Assemble and install refrigeration systems, cold storage units, refrigeration piping and related components.</li>
<li>Ensure the necessary materials required for the project are on hand and readily available.</li>
<li>Maintain regular communication with project managers, providing updates on the status of the project.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Licensed 313A mechanic.</li>
<li>Minimum 7 years of refrigeration installation experience with 2 years as a foreman.</li>
<li>Experience with supermarket refrigeration is considered an asset.</li>
<li>CO2 system installation experience is considered an asset.</li>
<li>Experience with control systems.</li>
<li>Electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.</li>
<li>Knowledge of TSSA regulations and procedures.</li>
<li>Valid G driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.</li>
<li>Ability to travel when required.</li>
</ul>
