On occasion, we also use AI-assisted tools to help review applications.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>THE ROLE</strong></p><p>As a certified 313A Field Mechanic, you will be working at various industrial sites throughout the GTA, maintaining and repairing commercial refrigeration systems. This is a great permanent opportunity for someone who enjoys traveling to various sites while working for a reputable well-established company that treats you like a family member. You will be given a work truck to travel to different plants to perform repair services and preventative maintenance on the commercial refrigeration systems. The position is based out of Milton, but 90% of your time is working offsite. We are looking for someone with 5 years' of experience as a 313A certified mechanic.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>ADVANTAGES</strong></p><ul><li>Great starting pay of $52/hour</li><li>Day shift Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3 pm</li><li>Permanent, long-term position</li><li>Overtime pay for on-call work which is on a rotation basis (every 5 weeks), plus 4 hours paid</li><li>Opportunity for advancement and career growth</li><li>Fantastic team of people that you get to work with</li><li>Great benefits- RRSP matching, medical, and dental</li><li>Tool and safety boot allowance</li><li>Company truck, cell phone and credit card provided</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components. </li><li>Coach and instruct apprentices. </li><li>Determine proper line sizing for refrigeration systems. </li><li>Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment. </li><li>Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices. </li><li>Install, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul entire refrigeration systems. </li><li>Recharge system with refrigerant. </li><li>Handle, recover and store refrigerants. </li><li>Reading of drawings to determine lineset placement. </li><li>Coordination with office and on-site to ensure infield changes are noted. </li><li>Diagnose and repair service requests on existing client systems, including walk-in Coolers & Freezers, ice machines, slushi machines. </li><li>Preventative maintenance visits on existing equipment. </li><li>Proper recording and documentation of work completed and materials used. </li></ul><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience as a 313A mechanic on commercial refrigeration units</li><li>Working knowledge of safety requirements for the construction industry</li><li>Licensed tech who has passed C of Q 5+ years</li><li>Excellent people and communication skills, both verbal and written</li><li>relevant skills in refrigeration repair and schematics</li><li>Core skills in HVACR and maintenance, along with premium abilities in diagnostics and brazing,</li><li>Must have reliable own transportation, G License in good standing</li></ul><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><strong>#INDSTRIVEON</strong></p><p><strong>#LI-SR</strong></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
