<p><p>Join to apply for the <b>Registered Nurse - Surgical/Obstetrics</b> role at <b>Southern Health-Santé Sud</b></p><p>Southern Health-Santé Sud is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Surgical/Obstetrics department at Portage Regional Health Centre.</p><p>The Registered Nurse (RN) applies the nursing process to support clients/residents/patients in achieving and maintaining their optimum level of health within a people-centered approach.</p><h3>Position Overview</h3><p>The RN works to full scope of practice, engages in ongoing education, and maintains competency congruent with Southern Health-Santé Sud policies, Professional Standards of Practice, College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba, Code of Ethics, and the Regulated Health Professions Act.</p><h3>Responsibilities and Requirements</h3><ul><li>Current active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba and the scope of practice as defined by the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).</li><li>Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.</li><li>Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.</li><li>Fetal Health Surveillance in Labour and other mandatory courses for the area being worked in.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative interdisciplinary environment that supports quality services, quality improvement, and staff empowerment.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and flexibility to meet the demands of the position.</li></ul><h3>Work Environment</h3><p>Portage Regional Health Centre, located in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, offers a unique work environment with a diverse community and a range of cultural backgrounds.</p><p>Southern Health-Santé Sud is committed to increasing the representation of Indigenous people within all levels of our workforce and encourages Indigenous applicants to apply.</p><h3>What We Offer</h3><p>A competitive salary, as per the MNU Collective Agreement, and a comprehensive benefits package.</p><p>Opportunities for professional growth and development in a supportive and collaborative work environment.</p></p>#J-18808-Ljbffr
