That insight is at the heart of our ambitious plan to reshape the future of healthcare for our community.</p><p>But we also pride ourselves on continuous innovation and community partnership, continually engaging the community to support our vision of world‑class patient care and compassion.</p><h3>Rotation/Shifts</h3><p>Days, nights, including weekends, 12‑hour shifts.</p><ul><li>For information purposes only – The Hospital reserves the right to change.</li></ul><h3>Basic Requirements</h3><><li>Certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario;</li><li>Three (3) months recent experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and/or in a Special Care Nursery;</li><li>Three (3) months recent ventilator experience;</li><li>Demonstrates a sound of the nursing process;</li><li>Demonstrates a desire and ability to participate in patient teaching;</li><li>Demonstrates a professional and respectful attitude to patients, to the public and to colleagues;</li><li>Demonstrates the ability to work effectively as an active member of the health care team;</li><li>Identifies a commitment to personal continuing education activities;</li><li>Demonstrates understanding of and participation in the evaluation process;</li><li>Demonstrates an understanding of the application and relevance of the nursing audit;</li><li>Eligible to work in Canada.</li><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>A degree in nursing;</li><li>Neonatal High Risk course;</li><li>Proficiency in English and French oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).</li></ul><h3>What You Can Expect From Us</h3><p>The Ottawa Hospital is committed to providing a healthy, safe, and inclusive work environment for everyone.
