Canadian Coin & Currency is also an authorized<br />distributor of collector coins for the Royal Canadian Mint. With a team of about 10 employees,<br />every role is valued, contributing to a strong and collaborative team environment.</p><p><br />Job Summary:<br />We are seeking a polished, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to represent our brand in a high-end retail environment specializing in collectible coins, rare currency, and precious metals including silver and gold. This role blends retail sales, visual merchandising, and close collaboration with our e-commerce operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience across both in-store and online channels.<br /></p><p><br /></p><p>Key Responsibilities:<br /></p><ul><li>Provide personalized, consultative sales experiences for clients purchasing collectible coins, currency, and precious metals</li><li>Build trust with customers by explaining product history, value, rarity, and market trends</li><li>Maintain visually compelling merchandise displays that reflect a luxury retail standard</li><li>Accurately process sales transactions and handle high-value inventory with care and discretion</li><li>Communicate regularly with the e-commerce team regarding product availability, promotions, and customer inquiries</li><li>Assist with inventory management, product transfers, and stock reconciliation between retail and online channels</li><li>Support in-store events, product launches, and client outreach initiatives</li></ul><p><br />Qualifications<br /></p><ul><li>Previous retail sales experience, preferably with luxury goods, collectibles, jewellery, or financial products</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, polished demeanor</li><li>High attention to detail with strong organizational skills</li><li>Basic computer proficiency and experience with POS and inventory systems</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends</li></ul><p><br />What Do We Offer?<br />Canadian Coin & Currency is an equal opportunity employer and offers its employees a wide<br />range of benefits and support. Approximately 40 hours / week, including weekend availability.</p><p></p><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>2+ years of retail customer service experience</li><li>Able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent customer service</li><li>Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours, which may include days, evenings, weekends and/or holidays, based on department and store/company needs</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.
