<p><b>Responsibilities:</b><br></p><li>Provide expert‑level administration and operational support for IBM RACF within the OPS mainframe environment.<br></li><li>Analyze and resolve complex RACF security issues, including access violations, improper access denials, and audit findings<br></li><li>Implement SSL/TLS Certificate Renewals on the Mainframe environment.<br></li><li>Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities, including CRQs, implementation planning, and root‑cause analysis.<br></li><li>Provide on‑call Level‑2 RACF support in a 24x7 mission‑critical environment.<br></li><li>Support RACF‑related aspects of disaster recovery, business resumption planning, and annual contingency testing.<br></li><li>Provide technical consultation, mentoring, and guidance to IAMP staff, ITS teams, and authorized ministry stakeholders.<br></li><li>Ensure delivery of complete and up‑to‑date RACF documentation, including procedures, standards, runbooks, and knowledge transfer artifacts.<br></li><li>Support knowledge transfer activities.<br></li><br><h3>Requirements</h3><p><b>Experience and Skill Set Requirements:</b><br></p><p><b>Must Haves:</b><br></p><li>15+ years hands-on experience with IBM RACF administration in z/OS mainframe environments.<br></li><li>Proficiency with IBM zSecure suite for RACF auditing and automation tasks.<br></li><li>Demonstrated knowledge and operational support experience with Mainframe technology in a large scale environment similar as the Government of Ontario and 10+ years demonstrated experience in complex projects related to installation/setup, migrations and upgrades.<br></li><li>Solid understanding of z/OS system internals, TSO/ISPF, JCL, JES2/3, and general mainframe architecture.<br></li><li>Excellent communication skills to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.<br></li><p><b>Skill Set Requirements:</b><br></p><p><b>RACF Technical Expertise:</b><br></p><li>15+ years hands-on experience with IBM RACF administration in z/OS mainframe environments. <br></li><li>Proficiency with IBM zSecure suite for RACF auditing and automation tasks.<br></li><p><b>Mainframe Systems Knowledge:</b><br></p><li>Demonstrated knowledge and operational support experience with Mainframe technology in a large scale environment similar as the Government of Ontario and 10+ years demonstrated experience in complex projects related to installation/setup, migrations and upgrades.<br></li><li>Solid understanding of z/OS system internals, TSO/ISPF, JCL, JES2/3, and general mainframe architecture.<br></li><li>Comfortable with utilities for security maintenance (e.g., IRRUT200/IRRUT400, RLIST/SETROPTS).<br></li><p><b>Security & Compliance experience:</b><br></p><li>Demonstrated experience in regulatory compliance frameworks (SOX, PCI DSS, HIPAA).<br></li><li>Experience with access control best practices and risk management.<br></li><p><b>Communication & Interpersonal:</b><br></p><li>Excellent communication skills to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.<br></li><li>Ability to translate technical security risks into business impact insights.<br></li>
