Role mission:

As a Sales Development Team Manager at CUBE, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of four Sales Development Representatives in Toronto. This is a player coach role so you will also be driving our outbound activity and generating new leads for our sales managers within the Financial Services Industry.

Responsibilities:


  1. Lead, mentor, and coach a team of 4 Sales Development Representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  2. Conduct regular 1:1s and team meetings to ensure alignment, motivation, and professional growth.
  3. Monitor team performance, track KPIs, and provide regular reports on progress to global BDR manager.
  4. Gaining a good understanding of our target industry & organisations.
  5. Identifying new business opportunities & conducting your own research to analyse prospective customer needs & challenges.
  6. Driving top of the funnel outbound lead generation to our target industry using cold calling, email & social selling.
  7. Securing meetings for the wider sales team & maintaining a solid pipeline of sales qualified leads.

What we’re looking for:

  1. Proven experience in sales development, business development, or inside sales function (ideally within a SaaS business), with at least 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role (bonus points for selling into enterprise and/or financial services).
  2. Strong understanding of outbound and inbound sales strategies, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.
  3. Strong communication skills & an ability to confidently present a complex solution to key stakeholders.
  4. Organisation & resilience – the role requires exceptional time & data management skills & someone that won’t become demotivated by rejections or objections.
  5. Excellent leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
