A Canadian Importer and Distributor is seeking a Sales Order Administrator. This well-established business supplies a niche industry with products of the highest quality and durability. This is an exciting opportunity for an organized and enthusiastic individual to be hands on in the ordering and distribution of product to our customers.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be the key person in processing sales orders and providing support to the sales team. This role requires strong attention to detail along with a flexible and understanding personality to accommodate the various priorities of the day. These tasks, along with the required education and skills, are described below.



Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:


  • Sales Order and Purchase Order entry
  • Order confirmation review and follow-up
  • Coordination of delivery details
  • Outgoing shipment document preparation
  • Incoming shipment file compilation for review
  • Stock re-order proposal preparation
  • Greeting customers and other reception duties
  • Provide support to other departments as required

Education and Experience


  • Computer skills and intermediate knowledge of relevant software (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Accountedge software knowledge an asset but not required
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
  • Knowledge of basic office and warehouse principles and practices
