POSITION OVERVIEW


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Development and Architecture, the Salesforce Developer will work closely with business owners and technical teams in designing and developing solutions. This position will be responsible for all technical aspects of Salesforce.com, including data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, AppExchange products and custom code. This is a hybrid role based out of our Toronto office.   

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop Salesforce solutions on Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce Community Cloud.
  • Implement Salesforce solutions using configuration and customization using technologies such as APEX, Triggers, Aura and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Perform Salesforce administration including managing roles and access, troubleshooting, data cleansing and auditing, and other configurations.
  • Design, configure and maintain Salesforce security rules, permission sets, field level security, record level security, roles and profiles.
  • Follow best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement.
  • Promote changes from development to QA, and from QA to production environments by applying DevOps best practices and technologies such as Salesforce DX, CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, and test automation.
  • Seek out ways to utilize SFDC to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace.
  • Define, communicate, and manage a change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years hands on experience implementing production ready features on Salesforce Service Cloud.
  • Strong understanding and experience with configuration and development using Apex, Apex Triggers, Lighting Aura/LWC Frameworks and Visual Force.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce development best practices, data modeling, design patterns and design limitations.
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce Workflow Rules, Flows, case management, knowledge base, chatbot, communities and service console customization.
  • Preferred certifications – Service Cloud Consultant, Admin Certification, Advanced Admin, Platform Developer.
  • Preferred experience installing, configuring and customizing Amazon Connect CTI Adapter (understanding of backend Lambdas is a plus) including CTI Flows.
  • Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs (experience with Mulesoft is a plus).
  • Experience working with Data Loader.
  • Experience with Salesforce dashboards and reports.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
  • Experience with version control (Git) and CICD process.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
