Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the QA/Test team for SAP ISU projects including enhancements, upgrades, and support initiatives.
- Define and implement end-to-end test strategies, plans, and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
- Coordinate and manage functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing cycles.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage and traceability.
- Oversee defect management processes using tools like HP ALM, JIRA, or similar.
- Ensure testing deliverables align with project timelines and quality standards.
- Provide regular test progress and defect status reports to project management.
- Mentor junior QA/testers and enforce best practices for testing and quality assurance.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of overall experience in software testing and QA.
- At least 5 years of experience in testing SAP ISU modules (Billing, Device Management, CRM, Customer Service, FICA, etc.).
- Strong leadership and team management skills in a QA/test environment.
- Excellent understanding of software testing lifecycle and QA methodologies.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA, TestRail).
- Familiarity with test automation is an asset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP certification in ISU or related modules is a plus.
- Utility domain experience in Canadian markets.
- Exposure to Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
- Experience in integration testing with third-party applications.
