The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.</p><h2><b>Position Overview</b></h2><br>
<p>The incumbent provides receptionist and clerical support for personnel in Security Services. Duties include data entry functions as required by the department and responsibility for the Photo Identification (ID) and access systems for the HSC Security Services Department.</p>
<h2><b>Experience</b></h2><ul><li>One year previous related experience required, preferably at the Health Sciences Centre.</li></ul>
<h2><b>Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)</b></h2><ul><li>Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required.</li> <li>Successful completion of a recognized secretarial training program required. </li> <li>A combination of education and experience may be considered.</li></ul>
<h2><b>Qualifications and Skills</b></h2><ul><li>Typing 50 wpm required.</li> <li>Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) required.</li> <li>Knowledge of Excel, Access and PowerPoint preferred.</li> <li>Knowledge of Health Sciences Centre (HSC) Payroll Coding and Data Entry systems preferred.</li> <li>Familiarity with Incident Reporting and Information Management System (Perspective) preferred.</li> <li>Excellent command of the English language (both oral and written) required.</li> <li>Must exercise discretion when dealing with confidential matters.</li> <li>Preference will be given to those applicants competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs, traditions and values.</li></ul><p>We have a unique ability to work together to make health care better.
