Security Alarm Technician

<p><b>What We're Looking For:</b></p><p>We're seeking a technician with 2+ years of experience installing card access systems and CCTV systems in commercial properties.</p><p>Experience with fire panels and burglar alarm systems in residential and commercial settings is an asset but not required.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Proficient in cabling: install, fish, dress, cross-connect, and terminate UTP, coaxial, and fibre cables</li><li>Experience with Honeywell, Ademco, and DSC systems</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Valid driver's license with a clean abstract</li><li>Able to pass a criminal background check</li><li>Comfortable using tools and working at heights (ladders, lifts)</li><li>Physically capable of lifting 50-70 lbs</li><li>Knowledge of safety standards and local/national codes</li><li>Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service</li><li>Computer literate with networking skills and knowledge of operating systems</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Install, service, and test electronic security systems</li><li>Troubleshoot software and networking issues</li><li>Test equipment, connections, and signals</li><li>Install video systems and digital cameras</li><li>Configure and program DVR units</li><li>Participate in on-call rotation</li><li>Provide cost estimates for installation and maintenance</li><li>Maintain and repair intrusion alarms, intercoms, and automatic door operators (asset)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>What we offer:</b></p><ul><li>We offer competitive wages</li><li>Competitive benefits package</li><li>a company vehicle</li><li>Work with a collaborate team</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Interested?</b></p><p>Please email your resume to , and </p>
