<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>As a Security Guard with Securiguard in Campbell River, you&#39;ll be more than a uniformed presence-you&#39;ll represent safety, professionalism, and reliability at a high-profile site. This role is ideal for individuals who are attentive, dependable, and confident in maintaining a secure and professional environment. Security Guards play a key role in ensuring the safety and comfort by providing visible deterrence, responding promptly to incidents, and supporting day-to-day site operations.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong></p><ul><li>Campbell River</li></ul><p><strong>Pay Rate:</strong></p><ul><li>$300/day, eligible for daily overtime </li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><ul><li>Provide excellent customer service to both the client and site visitors</li><li>Respond to incident/emergency situations and follow required protocols</li><li>Coordinate with the police or emergency personnel when required</li><li>Provide visual security presence</li><li>Detect and deter unauthorized persons</li><li>Provide access control and ensure there is no unauthorized access to the site</li><li>Patrol designated areas and scan check points in an outdoor environment </li><li>Conduct radio check ins, alarm response and security report writing duties</li><li>Identify and report safety hazards</li><li>Perform regularly scheduled site duties as required by client&#39;s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)</li><li>Report Frequent shift activities and security breaches</li><li>Submit a daily written report</li><li>Maintain consistent records using company issued notebook</li><li>Share and align with Securiguard&#39;s core Values - Respect, Empathy, Accountability, Courtesy & Honesty</li></ul></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid BC Security License</li><li>Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License </li><li>Excellent customer service and communication</li><li>Must be comfortable being able to work alone and in group settings</li><li>Must be comfortable working 12 hour shifts</li></ul><p><strong>What&#39;s in it for you: </strong></p><ul><li>Collaborative Culture: Join a supportive, values-driven team where everyone has a voice and wants you to succeed.</li><li>Training & Growth Opportunities: Continuous learning is part of who we are - expect workshops, micro-lessons, mentorship, and hands-on projects that build your skills for today and your career tomorrow.</li><li>Purpose-Driven Work: Be part of an award-winning organization recognized for its culture of respect, empathy, and accountability - where every person contributes to making people feel safe.</li></ul><br /></p></p>
