This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and a background in corporate security.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong> </p><ul><li>Present a polished, professional, customer-friendly image at all times </li><li>Escort guards are required to escort contractors and guest through the facility. </li><li>Incident response, patrols and inspections of space and equipment </li><li>Liaise with the Corporate security program to compound incident response </li><li>Record activities and incidents via security tours</li><li>Cross-training in other security positions as required (e.g. card holder administration assistance). </li><li>Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to de-escalate </li><li>Ensure that the facility&#39;s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies </li><li>Demonstrate good judgment, common sense, and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents </li><li>Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Must demonstrate strong de-escalation skills when confronted with difficult situations </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Requirement:</strong></p><ul><li>Must have at least 1 year experience in a security field</li><li>Must be above 18 years of age</li><li>Must have a valid Ontario Security guard license</li><li>Valid (full) provincial drivers license is an asset</li><li>Must have a valid first aid CPR </li><li>Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.</li><li>Must be eligible to work in Canada up to <strong>40</strong> hours a week.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience</li><li>Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.</li><li>Strong customer service ability</li><li>Successful candidate is required to attend Crisis Management and De-Escalation training</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement.</li><li>Comprehensive health and dental benefits</li><li>Paid training and development programs.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Disclaimer:</strong></p><p>As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
