We specialize in professional installation and support of cameras, alarms, access systems, and other digital security equipment. We're looking for a motivated Security Technician Apprentice to join our team and grow with us through hands-on mentorship and training.</p><p>Job Overview</p><p>This is an entry-level, technical apprenticeship role where you'll learn every aspect of security system installation. From preparing job sites to installing cameras and alarms, you'll gain hands-on skills under the guidance of experienced technicians. This is not a security guard position — it's a hands-on technical role in electronic security systems.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Assist with packing and unpacking truck equipment for job sites.</li><li>Learn and support the installation of security systems (cameras, alarms, access devices).</li><li>Perform cabling, device installation, and cable labelling.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area after installations.</li><li>Follow and enforce all safety protocols.</li><li>Receive weekly performance evaluations and mentorship from senior technicians.</li><li>Participate in hands-on training across all facets of security installation.</li></ul><p>Skills & Requirements</p><ul><li>Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required to ensure clear communication on job sites, with team members, and with clients.</li><li>Strong interest in technology, electronics, or hands-on trades.</li><li>Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, on-site environment.</li><li>Ability to work with tools, equipment, and cabling.</li><li>Attention to detail and adherence to safety practices.</li><li>Physical ability to lift equipment, bend, climb ladders, and work in varied environments.</li><li>Must be reliable, punctual, and eager to grow into a technical trade.</li><li>Valid driver's license (preferred).</li></ul><p>What We Offer</p><ul><li>On-the-job mentorship and technical training.</li><li>Exposure to a wide range of security technology systems.</li><li>Weekly performance feedback to support skill growth.</li><li>Opportunities to advance into a full Security Technician role.</li><li>A supportive team environment where learning is part of the job.</li></ul><p>How to Apply:<br><br>Submit your resume through Indeed.
