An employment opportunity at AAS now exists for a Landing Gear Technician.</p><p><br /><strong>Job Description and Responsibilities</strong><br />As a Senior Component Technician, you will perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, assembly, and testing of aircraft components. In this role you will utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Requirements include carrying out all maintenance tasks in accordance with the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), service bulletins (SB) and Airworthiness Directives (AD) specifications. As part of this role, you will be responsible for recording all tasks pertaining to work orders and caring out all procedures to meet quality control requirements. You will also be required to assist junior technicians with the maintenance of components, and coach them as required to develop their skills.</p><p><strong>Desired Skills</strong><br />路 8 plus years experience testing, repairing, overhauling components.<br />路 Strong organizational and time-management skills<br />路 Strong decision-making skills<br />路 Strong communication skills<br />路 Strong coaching skills<br />路 Strong disassembly, inspection, assembly, and testing skills<br />路 Ability to follow and interpret technical drawings, instructions, SBs, and ADs<br />路 Ability to read, write and speak English</p><p><strong>Company Benefits</strong><br />Group plan with life insurance, critical insurance, dental and extended health care coverage available after 90 days from the date of employment.
