Through innovative tactics and a team-oriented approach, the Senior Brand Manager will play a pivotal role within the marketing team. This position is based in Montreal (Saint-Laurent) and reports to the Business Unit Head, Hematology.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and successfully implement the annual cross-functional Integrated Brand plan.</li><li>Develop strategies to accelerate business performance based on market insights and identified challenges & opportunities.</li><li>Develop, implement, and measure tactics aligned to strategies identified in the marketing plan.</li><li>Managing and strategically spending the Advertising and Promotion (A&P) budget.</li><li>Support in the monthly and annual financial processes.</li><li>Communicating strategic goals, positioning, messaging and tactical plans to internal customers, field sales force and external agencies.</li><li>Contribute to cross-functional brand team and working groups in order to optimize initiatives. </li><li>Prepare and deliver presentations to the different stakeholders including Global/Area business reviews. </li><li>Analyze market issues and opportunities and communicate findings to brand team and to senior management.</li><li>Support the Brand Team in the planning and coordination of the national sales meeting and cycle meetings. </li><li>Work collaboratively with external vendors. </li></ul>Qualifications<br><br><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent</li><li>Relevant experience with proven track record of success in marketing within <span >biotech/pharmaceutical</span> industry</li><li>Ability to translate strategies into actionable and realistic marketing actions</li><li>Ability to lead, motivate and coordinate cross functional teams</li><li>Solid working knowledge of healthcare environment and evolving landscape</li><li>Solid knowledge of strategic and tactical marketing principles and techniques including digital knowledge</li><li>Solid knowledge on finance principles and processes</li><li>English language proficiency verbally and in writing (for all non-English speaking countries)</li><li>Preferred: Marketing track record of success within FMCG, Media and/or Digital/IT industry<br /> Sales track record of success within <span >biotech/pharmaceutical</span> or any other industry</li></ul><br><br>Additional Information<br><br><p><strong><span >Education/Experience</span> required:</strong> </p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Science or related field is required. </li><li>Relevant marketing experience with a proven track record within the <span >biotech/pharmaceutical</span> industry:<ul><li>Marketing experience within a relevant therapeutic area is a strength (minimum four years).</li><li><strong>Hematology </strong>experience preferred.</li><li>Experience with digital/virtual programs deployment is an asset. </li></ul></li><li>Ability to think and plan strategically (work plans, activities, timelines, targeting) and operating with execution excellence.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential skills and abilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Advanced oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).</li><li>Must be at ease with technology (the use of various tools/systems to perform day-to-day tasks). </li><li>Travel required about 25% of the time.</li><li>Valid driver’s license and passport.</li></ul><p><strong>Key leadership competencies:</strong></p><ul><li>Drive & communicate vision and strategy.</li><li>Excel in marketing by translating a very precise positioning into marketing tactics and sales force execution.</li><li>Contribute to the brand team as an effective and genuine team player.</li><li>Prioritize decisions and activities to ensure efficient use of resources and address critical issues impacting the brand.</li><li>Prepare and deliver presentations to the different stakeholders; adapt key messages to the audience.</li><li>Drive and Manage Projects.</li><li>Propose new and innovative marketing solutions.</li></ul><p></p><p>AbbVie is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to operating with integrity, driving innovation, transforming lives and serving our community.  Equal Opportunity <span >Employer/Veterans/Disabled.</span> </p><p>US & Puerto Rico only - to learn more, visit <span >https://www.abbvie.com/join</span>-us/equal-employment-opportunity-employer.html</p><p>US & Puerto Rico applicants seeking a reasonable accommodation, click here to learn more:</p><p><span >https://www.abbvie.com/join</span>-us/reasonable-<span >accommodations.html</span></p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
