Job Title: Senior Business Analyst – IT (Advanced)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the Digital team, supporting large-scale enterprise initiatives. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, deep knowledge of Agile practices, and the ability to lead complex business and system analysis activities across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead detailed requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Facilitate working sessions with stakeholders to identify, track, and resolve business and system issues.
- Conduct gap analysis, develop process maps, and support training and implementation activities.
- Analyze payloads (JSON/XML), data mappings, and system integrations (including APIs).
- Create and manage key project artifacts such as implementation plans, issues logs, FTE analysis, reports, etc.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure traceability to business objectives.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are clear, complete, and actionable.
- Contribute to strategic training plans and change adoption related to new or enhanced business processes.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in a project-based, Agile environment.
- Proven ability to independently gather and document both business and system-level requirements.
- Strong understanding of system integration and experience analyzing payloads (JSON, XML).
- Expertise in:
- Scope and business process modeling
- Data requirements and business rules analysis
- User stories, story decomposition and mapping
- Acceptance criteria and test scenarios
- Comfortable working with large stakeholder groups (15-20+) in cross-functional settings.
- Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Mural, Figma.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Coming from Banking ( Canadian F5)
Nice-to-Have Skills
- CBAP or equivalent certification
- Master’s Certificate in Business Analysis
- Experience on enterprise-level and mobile projects
- Exposure to API testing using Postman
- Knowledge of Accessibility standards
