Job Title: Senior Specialist Recruiter (AI/ML, Cybersecurity, or Legal Sector)

Location: Hybrid – 4 days onsite per week in downtown Toronto
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly specialized Senior Recruiter to support strategic talent acquisition across a designated business unit. The successful candidate will bring a proven track record of end-to-end recruitment in one of the following niche domains:
- AI/ML Engineering (not Data Engineers or Analysts), OR
- Senior Cybersecurity Consulting roles such as Threat Hunters (not general Security/IAM Analysts), OR
- Legal sector roles with a focus on hiring for law firms.
Please note: Generalist IT recruiting experience will not be considered. Only candidates with 5+ years of focused recruitment within one of the above areas will be shortlisted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for a specific line of business, acting as a strategic partner to hiring managers and HR
- Provide consultative advice on sourcing strategies, hiring best practices, and market insights within your specialty
- Source passive and active talent using a variety of tools and networks, including referrals, online platforms, and industry-specific channels
- Screen, assess, and present top-tier talent with a focus on quality over quantity
- Facilitate interviews, feedback sessions, and offer negotiations
- Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data using PeopleClick ATS
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment vendors and industry organizations
- Contribute to ongoing staffing projects and talent acquisition initiatives
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience within one of the following specialties:
- AI/ML Engineering roles
- Senior Cybersecurity (e.g., Threat Hunters, Red Team, Forensics)
- Legal/Law Firm hiring
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-volume or senior-level requisitions
- Expertise in sourcing strategies, market mapping, and pipeline development
- Strong communication, consultative, and relationship-building skills
- Experience using an ATS (preferably PeopleClick)
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
