<p><b>Job Description</b></p><p>Senior Environmental Engineer - Remediation & Division Lead needed for Markham, ON office-based role. Lead division operations, Phase I/II ESAs, RSCs, excess soil plans, and brownfield projects while managing teams and ensuring Ontario reg compliance (O. Reg. 153/04, 406/19).</p><p>Salary CAD $120K-$140K + full health benefits, onsite parking.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Manage all technical and operational aspects of the Environmental Division</li><li>Provide technical leadership, exercising problem solving skills.</li><li>Support multidisciplinary site assessment/remediation/development projects through application of project management, </li><li>Fully versed with Ontario environmental regulations such as O.Reg.153/04 and O.Reg.406/19, and others. </li><li>Lead and contribute to proposals and manage Phase One and Phase Two Environmental Site Assessments, including preparation of Records of Site Condition.</li><li>Lead and participate in the preparation of excess soil management plans.</li><li>Oversee and support field investigations pertaining to brownfield redevelopments, including development and implementation of sampling and analysis plans.</li><li>Ensure client satisfaction including maintaining good client relationships and client development</li><li>Build and support an outstanding team of Environmental Specialists and deliver first class service to the Clients.</li><li>Implement environmental policies and practices and ensure compliance with environmental legislation.</li><li>Provide environmental training to staff at all levels and manage a team of technical, scientific and engineering staff across Employer’s various offices.</li><li>Keep up to date with changes in environmental legislation and initiatives.</li><li>Audit, analyze and collate performance data and reporting.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Required Qualifications</b> (8+ yrs exp)</p><ul><li>P.Eng. (Ontario); Bachelor's Environmental/Civil Engineering.</li><li>Phase I/II ESAs, RSCs, excess soils proficiency.</li></ul><p></p>
