Our clients include industry-leading organizations that partner with us to be an extension of their HR & Recruitment function.</em></strong></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Position</strong>: Senior Estimator</p><p><strong>Location</strong>: Burlington, ON</p><p><strong>Salary</strong>: $115,000 - $125,000</p><p><strong>Industry</strong>: Construction / Industrial / Commercial / Institutional / Estimator</p><p><strong>Status</strong>: Full-Time / Permanent; This is a site-based and an office-based role.</p><p><br /></p><p>We are seeking a Senior Estimator to join our client’s team in Burlington, ON. The ideal candidate is responsible for the preparation of Budgets & Estimates for Design-Build and projects, including conceptual design-build, cost-plus, lump-sum, and construction management projects, as well as working with the project team through to project design, tendering, and vendor procurement.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Key</strong> <strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</p><ul><li>Accurate, timely preparation of multiple construction estimates and budgets of varying complexity of projects.</li><li>Manage the procurement process for subcontracts and consultants.</li><li>Create and maintain detailed subcontractor scope of work and bid documents.</li><li>Conduct site visits, review, and approve the preparation of drawings, specifications, and other design documents.</li><li>Proactively follows up on tenders and RFIs and maintains information.</li><li>Other related Senior Estimator duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Post-Secondary education in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management, or a related field.</li><li>5 years of experience as a Construction Estimator, ideally in a General Contracting and/or Design-Build contracting firm preferred.</li><li>Gold Seal Certification is a definite asset.</li><li>Working knowledge of estimating software such as PlanSwift, ProCore, as well as Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Proven ability to lead and communicate with trade-skilled personnel and contractors.</li><li>Excellent communication, both verbal & written.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong><em>Notes:</em></strong><em> We thank all candidates for their time.
