The Senior Analyst, Commercial Finance ensures the availability of relevant and accurate financial sales information for planning and decision making, including volume, mix and price analyses on a monthly basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze sales performance through the preparation of sales variance analyses, including the Sales Contribution by CBT on a monthly basis, and report on key drivers of variance to forecast and LY Monitoring of the overall data quality in SAP Business Warehouse by validating integrity of Master Data and identifying potential issues Be instrumental in process optimization in the sales area, and assist in identifying areas of improvement (project work) Develop and prepare reports and KPI for Sales area, based on BW and SAP Support Sales through setting up and maintaining Customer Rebate programs in SAP system.
Assisting with validation of Post Audit Rebate Claims, and investigating under-funded rebates Support Price Increase Process, including preparing price increase template and assisting with pricing uploads into SAP Responsible for specific account reconciliations including Accrued Rebates, Prepayments, Accrued Agent Commission, Trade Spend Accruals, including analysis and validation of balances, subject to segregation of duty issuesAnnual Agent Commission Setup and maintenance, including preparation of monthly Food Service broker commission report for payment Participate in the forecast process / preparation Assist in the external audit process Provide financial and ad hoc analyses as required Responsible for providing financial system support, related training and testing as the finance Subject Matters Expert (SME) with reference to Finance Lead the NPD for the finance team as it relates to performing evaluations of profitability after the launch to market and prepare the NPD financial tracker, and review of costing Maintain and update various Power BI Dashboards, including Daily Sales Dashboards, Sales Rep Trackers, Customer Tier 1 & Tier 2 Reporting, Credit Notes Tracking, various Discount Trackers Monthly Statistics Canada Report on PricingAssist with data required for Annual Stewardship ReportingTMGNY
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a finance department performing a similar role Minimum completion of a Post Graduate, Finance/Accounting Diploma/Degree Previous experience with SAP or other ERP system, Business Warehouse or Power BI is an assetAccounting Designation is considered an asset Apply
