And we’re just getting started!</p><p></p><strong>The Role</strong><p>Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the <strong>Senior Financial Analyst</strong> will play a key role in Solink’s company-wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes. This role serves as a central point of coordination across Finance, Operations, R&D, and Product, partnering with leaders to align financial plans with strategic priorities and operational drivers.</p><p>The Senior Financial Analyst will provide insight and analysis that support executive decision-making, including consolidated management reporting, variance analysis, and Board- and committee-level materials. Through strong finance business partnering, integrated financial modeling, and continuous improvement of FP&A systems and processes, this role helps drive accountability, scalability, and informed decision-making across the organization.</p><p></p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong><p></p><strong>Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting (Core Focus)</strong><ul><li><p>Own the <strong>consolidation of the company-wide annual budget and rolling forecasts</strong>, partnering with department leaders to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.</p></li><li><p>Act as the central point of coordination across Finance, Operations, R&D, and Product to challenge assumptions, improve forecast accuracy, and drive accountability.</p></li><li><p>Develop and maintain <strong>integrated financial models</strong> that link operational drivers to financial outcomes (ARR, headcount, margin, cash).</p></li><li><p>Lead variance analysis versus budget and forecast, translating results into <strong>clear insights and recommended actions</strong> for senior leadership.<br /></p></li></ul><strong>Executive & Board-Level Reporting</strong><ul><li><p>Prepare high-quality <strong>financial decks and narratives</strong> for the Board of Directors and the Risk & Audit Committee, including KPIs, trends, risks, and forward-looking analysis.</p></li><li><p>Present consolidated budgets, forecasts, and performance updates to executive leadership, with direct exposure to the CEO.</p></li><li><p>Ensure financial storytelling is clear, concise, and decision-oriented, tailored to a Board and executive audience.<br /></p></li></ul><strong>Finance Business Partnering</strong><ul><li><p>Serve as a <strong>trusted finance business partner</strong> to functional leaders, providing financial insight, challenge, and support on key initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Support investment decisions, pricing changes, hiring plans, and operational trade-offs through data-driven analysis.</p></li><li><p>Build strong cross-functional relationships to improve financial literacy, ownership, and performance across the organization.</p></li><li><p>Proactively identify risks and opportunities, escalating key issues with well-supported recommendations.<br /></p></li></ul><strong>Management Reporting & Performance Analysis</strong><ul><li><p>Own the monthly management reporting package, including financial results, KPI dashboards, and executive commentary.</p></li><li><p>Analyze performance drivers across revenue, cost structure, and margin, connecting financial results back to operational activity.</p></li><li><p>Continuously improve reporting cadence, structure, and automation to scale with the business.<br /></p></li></ul><strong>Financial Reporting & Governance Support</strong><ul><li><p>Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring consistency between management reporting and statutory results.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with Accounting on IFRS-related topics to ensure forecasts, budgets, and Board materials reflect accounting reality.</p></li><li><p>Assist in preparation for Risk & Audit Committee discussions by providing forward-looking risk assessments and sensitivity analyses.<br /></p></li></ul><strong>Systems, Process & Model Improvement</strong><ul><li><p>Enhance FP&A models, forecasting tools, and reporting processes within NetSuite and related systems.</p></li><li><p>Drive automation and standardization of budget, forecast, and reporting workflows.</p></li><li><p>Support finance transformation initiatives that improve scalability, data quality, and decision support.</p></li></ul><strong>What You Bring</strong><p><strong>Must-Have:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration</p></li><li><p>4+ years of experience in FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, or a related analytical role</p></li><li><p>Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, scenario modeling, automation)</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex data into business recommendations</p></li><li><p>Proven experience supporting sales or marketing functions in a SaaS or recurring revenue environment</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills and ability to influence non-financial stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with attention to detail and deadlines</p></li></ul><p><strong>Nice-to-Have:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Tableau)</p></li><li><p>Understanding of SaaS metrics such as ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, and net retention</p></li><li><p>Exposure to financial automation or AI-driven reporting tools</p></li><li><p>CPA, CFA, or MBA designation (asset but not required)</p></li></ul><p></p><strong>Security Requirements</strong><ul><li><p>Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;</p></li><li><p>Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens
